Often, my drawings or paintings come from processing things that I feel God saying to me. This may come from something that I see in prayer or worship, an image or impression. 

This painting is about eager expectancy of what God is planning and doing in the earth and in our lives individually and as a whole. It began somewhere between play and a landscape. It developed as I sat and imagined with the Lord.

As I spent some time pondering it with the Lord, I saw a womb. In the womb, I saw something that God was about to birth into the earth. Just like when a baby is born, there is much surprise. I wondered what exactly God was working on. I did not know exactly what that was. I only knew that it would be good and it wouldn't be long.
